It is designed for Business Mobility applications including sales force automation, inventory management, patient care, merchandising and asset management. Featuring a contoured grip surface, the SoMo 650RX-E is an ergonomically designed and is easy to use Windows Mobile 6.0 computer. The handheld computer provides reinforced CompactFlash and Secure Digital I/O slots to take full advantage of slot based peripherals. And even, it protects the computer from the day to day impacts of a business mobility deployment. The SoMo 650RX-E includes a business class implementation of Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi® wireless networking providing dependable connections, great coverage and enabling advanced features such as Voice over IP communications. Further, it is easy to customize with a wide range of bar code scanners, RFID readers, and communications peripherals based on the CF, SD or Bluetooth interface. With the preloaded Software drivers and utilities, you can deploy out of the box with your favorite Socket peripheral. Additionally, its Bluetooth implementation enables you to connect to Socket hand-held and hands-free scanning solutions along with hundreds of readily available 3rd party Bluetooth peripherals. With all these features and more, the SoMo RX-E Model is a basic package for you.
